The Hawai‘i Island Psychological Association CE Committee reviews program proposals for relevance to our members.

We look for presentations that are appropriate for practicing psychotherapists.

To meet APA standards, we look to see if a proposal:

1) Will help psychologists serve the public and enhance the profession?

2) Can the proposal be understood as building on a doctoral degree in psychology?

and 3 ) Is it credible (e.g. theoretically and/or empirically; accepted conventional practice) or does it address legal, ethical, or regulatory professional standards?

After filling out the Proposal form please email the Executive Director, Dr. Roger Weiss, at hawaiiislandpsych@gmail.com, to inform him that you have submitted a proposal.
